This fantasy novel series is the newest (and longest) tale from the wildly popular author and is being published in numerous languages. It inspired comics, an ongoing animated series, and an upcoming 2022 live-action series from the director of the massively popular series The Untamed (based off the Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation novel series from this author).

An animated series (donghua) began simulcast streaming in October 2020, and gathered 100+ million views in its first month. The English version debuted through Funimation with a later release on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube, with a second season coming soon.
