Reborn as a Space Mercenary: I Woke Up Piloting the Strongest Starship! (Novel) Vol. 08
KNIGHT IN SHINING POWER ARMOR
Hiro and crew take a request to guard colonists transporting valuable terraforming materials to a brand-new system under the oversight of Chris herself. And with their new military battle bots aboard, the gang’s ready for anything—or so they think. Meanwhile, Hiro’s Gold Star has made him a target of the galactic paparazzi. Under the eye of the camera, Hiro and the girls undertake their most dangerous mission yet: defense of an entire planet!
Series Overview: When Satou Takahiro is swept away from his ordinary life into the world of his favorite video game, a universe of space battles, interstellar colonies, and danger in the vastness of outer space awaits. Soon, he’s living as “Hiro” the mercenary, with a tricked-out spaceship and a babe on each arm! There are space pirates to fight, girls to rescue, and trouble to get into (and hopefully out of). Hiro is going to live his new life to the fullest!

Title Notes:
Isekai or “Transported to Another World” stories are very popular right now, but this series’ use of a science fiction world is a twist on the usual fantasy tropes of the genre.
Fiction with color inserts in the front of each volume and roughly a dozen black-and-white manga-style illustrations to complement 250-350 pages of text.
This book is a more self-indulgent “bachelor’s” take on spaceship adventures like Solo, Cowboy Bebop, and Firefly.
Seven Seas will publish both the light novel and manga of this series. This Adult title is rated Older Teen (15+).
