Biographical Notes:

Miya Kazuki is s a female Japanese light novelist and essayist and also the author of Ascendance of a Bookworm franchise. The creator of both the manga and the anime, as well as the light novel.

From 2013 onwards, she started publishing her novel Ascendance of a Bookworm on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō which saw success. In 2015, she officially debuted with said series under the T.O. Books imprint.

You Shiina is the illustrator for the Ascendance of a Bookworm light novel, as well as the creator for the original character designs.
