Popular Genres of Isekai or “Transported to Another World” stories are very popular right now, but this series’ use of a science fiction world is a twist on the usual fantasy tropes of the genre.

This book is a more self-indulgent “bachelor’s” take on spaceship adventures like Solo, Cowboy Bebop, and Firefly.
