A prolific shonen artist, Yoshinori Matsuoka’s most recent completed series is the manga adaptation of the game Gate of Nightmares. His new series, Re:Anima, was created for the English-speaking market and is premiering online at Kodansha.us.

The surface of the Earth is too hot for humans, who can only experience by jacking into robots. In a clever twist, this manga is packed with Matrix-style cyberpunk action, except this “cyberspace” is the surface of the real world!

This series was developed specifically for the American market and is “streaming” on Kodansha’s website. It will release in the U.S. before being published in Japan.
