Biographical Notes:
Naoki Urasawa is best known for being the author & artist of Pluto, Billy Bat, Monster, 21st Century Boys, and 20th Century Boys. He has received the Shogakukan Manga Award three times, the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize twice, and the Kodansha Manga Award once. In 2008, the winner of the Pulitzer Prize for fiction, Junot Diaz praised Monster and added that “Urasawa is a national treasure of Japan.”
Takashi Nagasaki is a manga editor, author, and producer, best known for his collaborations with Naoki Urasawa. He is best known for being the cg director of Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror and The Sky Crawlers.
