Coolkyousinnjya is the creator of the global bestseller Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, as well as the popular gag manga I Can’t Understand What My Husband Is Saying and Komori-san Can’t Decline. Their newest work is action folktale Peach Boy Riverside.
Johanne is an experienced creator of doujinshi (indie comics), whose first manga from a mainstream publisher is action folktale Peach Boy Riverside, now out in English from Kodansha Comics.
Title Notes:
A mash-up of an ancient Japanese folktale with a medieval European-tinged monster-fighting fantasy setting, this fits in nicely with current king of the shonen hill, Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon Slayer.
ans of the author’s previous work Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, which was published by Seven Seas in English and has an anime streaming on Crunchyroll, will find a similar mix of action, creativity, and humor.
