Yukiné was harboring the fugitive stray at Kofuku’s place, but when Kofuku comes home with an entourage of shinki, his new friend vanishes without a trace. When Yukiné goes out looking for her, he only finds her former master instead. The encounter ends a bit too peacefully, and Koto’s words nag at Yukiné, but the questions they raise are dangerous ones…
