In this manga adaptation of the popular web novel series, an overworked wage slave finds himself transported to a fantasy world where he quickly becomes the strongest sage in the world…thanks to the help of an army of tamed Slimes!

Yuji begins investigating a brand-new type of threat that lurks on Evildominus Island, a dangerous place renowned for the precious resource Mother Earth’s Tears. Yuji and his team of tamed monsters are able to secure several cursed specimens using a combination of ice magic and unlimited Slime storage.

While trying to find more information regarding the cursed tree found on Evildominus Island, Yuji stumbles on the small town of Declen. After discovering the local Adventurer’s Guild, he is tasked with a quest to clear out an infestation of wraiths that haunt the nearby forest. In the midst of the quest, he meets a wraith who differs from the other inhumane spirits, though it remains unclear if she is a friendly ally or a dangerous foe. What secrets lie in the grudge she carries from beyond the grave?

Series Overview: Summoned into a fantasy realm through his computer, Yuji left behind his job as a corporate drone only to be saddled with the least desirable character class in his new world—Tamer. But he quickly flexes his new skills by taming an army of slimes, and with a little aid from his slippery new friends, gains the second class of Sage and becomes the strongest magic wielder in the world!

Ponjea (Friendly Land), a rising star in Taiwanese comics, is now working with master Japanese comic artist Riichiro Inagaki on the single-issue Kiba & Kiba and marks the first time in its 42-year history that legendary Japanese comic anthology weekly Shonen Jump has published the work of a non-Japanese artist.

Title Notes:

In January 2021, an anime adaptation of My Isekai Life was publicly announced! The Japanese broadcast will begin in 2022, but further details have yet to be confirmed. We expect viewers can catch it simultaneously streaming with Japan on the usual anime platforms.

My Isekai Life falls squarely into the hugely popular isekai (fantasy fiction in which a character is transported from one world to another) genre, which has been a proven seller in this market.

Each of the volumes in this series include additional prose content set in the world of the story and written by the author of the original novels.
