Fujita rose to fame as an amateur artist, posting comics on the Japanese Pixiv sharing service. Wotakoi: Love Is Hard for Otaku is her professional manga debut in Japan.

Title Notes:

A much-anticipated geek romantic comedy that is about to become a major anime release premiering in April 2018 from A-1 Pictures, makers of fan favorites like Black Butler, ERASED, and Saekano.

This manga is a true grassroots hit, starting out as a free webcomic on the Japanese Pixiv image sharing service before being picked up by a publisher. True to form, it is already building work of mouth in the US, too.
