“Wow, that’s an awfully large bird.”

Kino’s voice sounded deeply impressed. Hermes hesitated for several seconds, but couldn’t quite reach a decision. Sometimes, your only option is just to open your mouth and ask directly. Hermes had no mouth with which to ask, but decided to ask Kino anyway.

“Kino…are you being serious?”

“Huh? What do you mean, Hermes?”

“I mean, do you seriously think that airplane is a big bird?”

“‘Airplane’… Is that what that bird’s called? Or are you mixing up your words again?”

“Oh dear…”
