Ammitsu is the manga artist who created shojo romance series Ran the Peerless Beauty and their latest, Gazing at the Star Next Door. Both are published in English by Kodansha. She is best known for being the author & artist of Gazing at the Star Next Door, Ashita mo Kiss Shite ii Desu ka?, Shigoto Danshi ni Koi Shiteru., Ran the Peerless Beauty, and Kanna to Decchi.

Title Notes:

This series comes from the creator of Ran the Peerless Beauty, which was one of Kodansha’s top-selling shojo romance series a few years ago and which many readers compared to the timeless classic Kimi ni Todoke.

Kodansha is so confident in the appeal of this series that they have not released it digitally, instead holding off for a simultaneous physical and digital release.

Lots of best-selling manga these days feature stories that center stardom and celebrity. This is the most anticipated shojo entry in that boomlet.
