Biographical Notes:

Best known as the author of Kaiji, Nobuyuki Fukumoto’s work often revolves around gambling and psychological explorations of his characters.

Illustrator Kaiji Kawaguchi’s award-winning career spans over fifty years and includes titles such as The Silent Service and Zipan.

A live-action film starring Toma Ikuta and Yang Ik-june is set to premiere in May, 2024

Fukumoto is the creator of Gambling Apocalypse: Kaiji.
