In Colorless Vol. 03, A massive solar flare erased nearly all color from the surface of the Earth, and the mutated descendants of the human race exist in a state of slow decline. What little color remains now holds a strange and seductive power. Some people, like the lone-wolf professor Avidia, try and understand it. Others, including the cult-like Iodopsy Order, use it for power and control. When an Order assassin draws innocent bystanders into their rivalry, it’ll take everything Avidia has to save their lives… and his own!

Series Overview: A cosmic disaster changed the Earth forever, stripping away every last drop of color from the world. Mankind also changed: the familiar human face is almost forgotten in a world now populated wholly by mutants. Against the backdrop of a moody urban landscape, a lone wolf investigator named Avidia relies on both his wits and extraordinary gun to hunt down the world’s last hidden scraps of color. He soon crosses paths with a very special girl–one who just might hold the key to bringing back what the world has lost.

KENT is a manga creator best known for the debut work COLORLESS, after work as a concept artist for figurines and statuettes.

FOR FANS OF: Blame!, Batman, Darker than Black, etc. The lone wolf protagonist’s over-the-top science fictional gun should feel familiar to fans of Tsutomu Nihei (Blame!, Knights of Sidonia, etc.). This work received his personal endorsement (“I love it”) in Japan.

AGE RANGE: This Adult title has crossover appeal with YA audiences (rated Teen 13+).
